LARIA is a fibre which draws inspiration from Nature. Its design and special hollow section gives it a whole range of properties suitable for any kind of daily routine or sports activities.
HOW IT WORKS
LARIA creates a real thermo-isolating barrier; the hollow filaments in the yarn protect the body from any exterior temperature changes. This remarkable quality makes it into a lightweight yarn which is ideal for all garment types.
THERMAL PROPERTIES
The hollow filaments create a natural microclimate which protects the body from sudden changes in temperature *UNI EN 31092:2012 par 7.3.
AN ULTRALIGHTWEIGHT FABRIC
With Laria we can create fabrics which are 20% lighter than those made with non-hollow yarns, whilst ensuring extraordinary thermal isolation at the same time.
RAPID DRYING
LARIA has moisture recovery properties of 4% allowing for a rapid drying process which would be inconceivable for any clothing items made from natural or animal yarns *UNI EN ISO 62.
