LAMICROFIBRA®
Fulgar's LAMICROFIBRA® is a yarn with extremely fine filaments (less than 10 µm); it can be used to make extremely soft and highly breathable fabrics which is ideal for lightweight garments that come into direct contact with the skin.
WHAT IS LAMICROFIBRA?
In the textile industry, microfibre is defined as a fibre made up of fine lightweight strands which mimic the features of superior fibres such as silk. Microfibre is suitable for a panoply of uses. The structure of a microfibre can be modified during the texturation or drawing process which gives rise to two different effects: on the one hand, it gives a warm, cottony texture with a matt look whilst on the other hand, it gives a fresh, silky texture with a shiny look.
SOFTNESS
Microfibre is extremely fine meaning that it is used to make lightweight fabrics which are soft to the touch.
A LIGHTWEIGHT FABRIC
LAMICROFIBRA®'s specific weight is 18% less than that of polyester fibres meaning it ensures a lightweight garment and exceptional comfort levels.
